Ms. Shashikala Venkatraman has a 30+ years’ work experience in global work settings, having worked and lived in India, Middle East, UK and USA. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Studies from Mumbai University with specialist professional training from the London Business School, UK and XLRI, India. 

Currently she works independently offering her expertise as a Brand and Marketing consultant to Private Equity firms, Retail, Retail real estate, Media, and Consumer Service companies across different growth stages. She is the Co-founder & Director of My Liveable City, a global urbanisation platform devoted to informing, inspiring and influencing the development of cities in a sustainable and inclusive way. She also serves as an independent director on Company Boards.

Ms. Venkatraman has worked in senior management positions with Worldwide Media (a BBC-TOI Joint venture) India, The Cambridge Group (a Brand Consultancy firm), USA, British Airways (Airlines - Marketing, Information & Strategy), UK and AC Nielsen, Pathfinders, MARG (Market Research & insights), India & UAE.
