Ms.Archana is a Globally-recognized, Senior Leader demonstrating almost three decades of rich experience in fundraising, investing and nurturing investments through 4 different economic cycles, plus carving exit paths.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Economics alongwith a PhD from University of Pittsburgh in Finance.

Over the last 20 years specifically Ms. Archana’s work has been mainly focused on private equity wherein she was involved with 14 funds, 160+ investments with an aggregate capitalization value in excess of US$ 15 bn, 109 liquidity events, 70 fully exited investments. Notably, she is India’s first private equity fund manager and developer of infrastructure projects to raise a fund from international investors. Instrumental in growing that business from 1 fund to over 14 funds cumulating into a US$3.5 bn practice across 3 verticals: growth private equity/venture capital, infrastructure private equity and real estate private equity.

She has participated in management challenges of multiple growth trajectories which provided her holistic understanding of corporate India, as well as other emerging markets. She has been a mentor to several start-ups in the technology, education, financial inclusion space.

Mr. Girish has published / presented over 25 papers at National / International conferences and has received several awards for this work. Some of the awards received by him include “Distinguished Alumnus Award 2011” by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in recognition of outstanding contributions to Rural and Community Development, “Maha – Intrapreneur Award 2013” by Praj Industries Ltd. at the hands of Dr. Anil Kakodkar and “Commander in the Order of Agricultural Merit” by the Minister of Agriculture, Agrifood and   Forestry, Government of France (2016).
