Darshna is a Project Associate at Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation. She has completed her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Environmental Science from Fergusson College and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra, respectively. Her interest in the topic of 'Sustainability' strengthened while working on her bachelor's degree thesis on “ Examining the role of Public transport in regulating the Health and Environment of Pune city with a focus on Air and Noise pollution”. During her Master's degree thesis, she worked on formulating “ Ideas for developing Sustainable Parks in Smart Cities keeping in mind the targets under SDG-11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities”.
Before joining Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation, Darshna interned with the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Freeland, Climate Hub, WASP (NGO), Waatavaran, and Nature's Eye. She has undertaken many certificate courses in the area of Economics and Sustainability, Data Science Analysis, and ESG.
Apart from work, she enjoys Nature Photography, gardening, sketching, and traveling.
