From Commitment to Community Impact.

What We Offer ?

CSR Programme Management and Impact Assessment

From community needs to meaningful action. From programme delivery to lasting impact.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has the potential to create meaningful environmental and social change. Realising this potential requires more than funding projects or completing activities. It calls for a sound understanding of community needs, thoughtful programme design, capable implementation partners and credible assessment of results.

At Ekonnect, we work with corporates, foundations and implementing organisations to conceptualise, design, manage, monitor and evaluate CSR programmes, particularly those focused on environmental sustainability, natural resource management and community development. We bring together technical expertise, participatory approaches and practical programme management to ensure that CSR investments respond to genuine needs and deliver measurable benefits.

Managing the Complete CSR Programme Cycle

Our approach covers the entire programme life cycle, beginning with community needs assessments and stakeholder consultations to identify priorities and opportunities. We then support programme design, establish clear objectives and measurable indicators, identify and strengthen implementing partners, and provide technical and managerial guidance during implementation.

Through structured monitoring, periodic reviews and independent or collaborative evaluations, we help organisations track progress, identify challenges, make course corrections and strengthen programme effectiveness.

Measuring What Matters

We believe that CSR success should be measured not merely by funds spent or activities completed, but by the outcomes achieved and the value sustained.

Our monitoring and impact assessment approaches examine environmental and social benefits, community participation, institutional capacities and the potential for long-term sustainability. We help organisations distinguish between immediate outputs, meaningful outcomes and lasting impacts, while communicating results transparently to stakeholders.

Building Value Beyond the Project

Beyond individual CSR initiatives, we seek to strengthen local capacities, encourage community ownership and identify opportunities to replicate and scale successful interventions. By connecting community experience with technical knowledge and organisational learning, we help CSR programmes become catalysts for broader sustainability action.

For Ekonnect, delivering CSR programmes means converting corporate commitment into community value, environmental improvement and lasting impact.

Past Programmes

2
Community Development for a 10,000 MW+ Renewable Energy Project, North Karnataka
When Ampyr Renewables needed a community program to match the scale of its 10,000+ MW project, Ekonnect built one from the ground up. The team set up the project unit, designed a three year program, and worked alongside local NGOs and communities to bring it to life, tracking progress at every stage. The program has since reached over 5,000 people, employed 50+ community members, and lifted household incomes by 65%.

Environmental and Social Safeguards Training for Solar Site Teams, Jaisalmer
Solar site teams in Jaisalmer needed more than a site manual, they needed to understand the standards international lenders actually hold projects to. Over two days on-site, Ekonnect walked ReNew's site teams through environmental and social safeguards ranging from biodiversity protection to community resettlement, giving them practical fluency in what lender compliance really looks like.

A National Sustainability Training Curriculum for Indian Railways
Under a UN initiative for green economic growth, Ekonnect developed a capacity building program on environment and sustainability for Indian Railways. The pilot trained 51 officials and 10 master trainers, and proved effective enough that Railways folded it directly into its standard training curriculum.
3
Organic Farming Transition Support for Farmers in Wai
Shifting an entire farming community from conventional to organic practices takes more than a workshop. Working with Big Basket, Ekonnect supported farmers in Wai through hands-on training and regular farm visits, staying involved through the full transition rather than handing over a one-time toolkit.

Sustainable Demo Farms and Solar-Powered Last-Mile Delivery for an Online Grocery Platform
For a leading online grocery delivery app, Ekonnect set up sustainable demo farms and helped scale a fleet of electric vehicles for last-mile delivery, backed by solar charging infrastructure, connecting sourcing and delivery under one sustainability approach.

A Pan-India Driver Safety Program for a Mobility Client
Road safety at scale needs more than training sessions, it needs a way to measure whether behaviour actually changes. For a pan-India logistics and mobility client, Ekonnect built a driver safety program with a mobile app and dashboard that tracks improvement over time, turning a one-off training into an ongoing safety system.
